After months of planning and daydreaming, Kawaii In Manila 2 was brought to life last September 6 2014. A Convention for all Kawaii stuff and Kawaii loving people of all ages.
I want to thank Kuya Eric (Ate Kaila’s brother / Inverstor for KIM 2/KPH) for making our dreams turn into reality. ♥ #kuyangbayan

What is Kawaii for me? Kawaii is not just about the cute stuff, it’s about something that once you see it, It makes you happy and for me,Kawaii is a lifetsyle, it is where you can express yourself, where you dont need to think of what others may say. You can grow as a person and make your dreams come true. For me, I’m on my way to achieving my dreams by being living a Kawaii lifestyle. Kawaii is all about happiness , being happy in your own simple ways. Well, I’m not good in saying/explaining things. hahaha. I hope you understand it haha lol.
Anyway, it was a dream come true for the whole team, for me, and It was heart warming that we expected only 500 attendees but it turned out that we had a 1500 attendees that day. So much feels and happiness. We cant contain our emotions for the warm response from everyone.
I was assigned to be the Fashion Show Director for the event, and I also have a collection to show to everyone,I am one of the designers that will showcase Japanese inspired collections :) ( Me so Lucky! <3 ) so mostly I was inside the dressing room / backstage the whole event. I was assigned for the all the Fashion Show Plans and everything / everyone inside the dressing room, It was fun / tiring / happy experience. I met so many people, made friends and admired some. haha. ლ(́◉◞౪◟◉‵ლ)
Here are my babies :) My Dolly Kaye babies <3 My collection was inspired from the playful style of Pastel Kei /Fairy kei Fashion in Japan <3 Accessories are from Whimsicute! ♥
Pastel Kei / Fairy Kei – A more sweet lolita, decora blend, with a hint of 80’s. It uses mostly bright pastel colors (like lavender, baby blue, light pink, mint green, pale yellow, etc.) – (Wikipedia)
Let me introduce to you my pretty models/friends <3 from Left to Right ♥ Say Hi to Ghey, Gene, Oh that’s me haha , My BFF Wynona (My baby unicorn), Geneva and Ate Chay <3

My dream of making a pastry is coming true! haha ヽ( ★ω★)ノ
I’m going to review / step by step show you how to use the Kracie’s Happy Kitchen Donut Kit! Yay! Ate Kaila of Rainbowholic gave me this super fun and easy way to create mini donuts that you can actually eat! ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ
Let’s Start! ♥
So, here’s the packaging looks like. So Kawaii right? ♥ As you can see everything is written in Japanese. huhu But dont worry I’ll show you how to make these really kawaii mini donuts! <3
Here’s what inside this kawaii box. ♥
First you’ll see a noodle like packaging haha :D
Inside the noodle like packaging, here’s whats inside.
This includes 1 container (where you will be mixing the batter and frosting) , a plastic bag (for decorating with your frosting), 1 spoon, 1 chocolate mixture, 1 vanilla mixture, 1 sprinkle and the blue one contains another kind of sprinkles, 3 mixtures of frosting ( strawberry, chocolate and vanilla).
☆彡 ★彡 ☆彡 ★彡
Let’s Make the Dough! ♥
First you need to prepare the container that you’ll be using. Cut them according to this picture. (There’s an instruction on the back of the packaging though. :D) Be careful because of the sharp edges.
The oval shaped container is for the dough mixture, the two tiny rectangles are for the frosting, the tiny part that you’ll be cutting will be the thing that you’ll be using to measure the water/milk you’ll be needing for the frosting mixture. And of course the molds :D
Here’s the chocolate and Vanilla dough mixture included in the packaging.
What you’ll be needing:
♥ Water or Milk (Milk is yummier ♥)
♥ Spoon included in the packaging
♥ Dough mixture
♥ Dough mixture container
Now, that your materials are ready, Let’s start.
1. Fill the oval shaped with water ( just the oval thingy :D)
2. Put the Vanilla Dough mixture into the container.
3. Mix it very well.
4. Knead it with your hands into an oval shape.
5.Divide it into 2 or 3. I divided it into five because I’m going to mix choco and vanilla doughs. :D
6. Knead it into circles :D
( Do the same steps with the Chocolate dough mixture.)
After doing these steps, you are now ready in molding your mini donuts! Yay!
Get the molding container and put your dough mixture in it. Just like this in the picture. :D (Just like molding a clay :D)
And tadaa, here’s your perfectly molded donuts! :D They smell good :D
Kawaii Ph has launched a Worldwide Kawaii Campaign! <3
“We are inviting all kawaii girls / fans around the world to participate in our worldwide kawaii campaign! Here in the Kawaii Philippines community, we believe that “kawaii” isn’t just an expression nor a trend. It is a lifestyle – an appreciation for all things cute and also a way of looking at the world in a positive light. Moreover, it can also become a powerful medium to make a positive difference here in the world. Through kawaii, we can spread this cheerful virus to make others happy!” – Kawaii Philippines (www.kawaii.ph) <3
“Kawaii, for me, is a powerful movement. It started as a word to refer something as cute, pretty or pleasing to the eyes. Recent events proved me there’s more to that, kawaii could also be a way of saying “what a dream”, “happiness” and “friendship.”
Last week we had this photo shoot titled “Smile“. A Kawaii.Ph/Looks project :) It took place @ the Quezon City Memorial Circle :D It was my first time to go there, and I was really excited! ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ woooooo!Yay! <3
I had the chance to showcase my dresses here! :D Yay AGAIN! ヽ(=^･ω･^=)丿
” Kawaii.Ph/Looks (KPL) took a break from the usual routine and decided to have a special photobook to showcase that being kawaii is not all about the flashy blings and clothes. Kawaii is more than that, you can be kawaii even just by smiling and telling the world that you are so happy because cute and happy thoughts and actions make you smile and smiling shows the inner beauty of a person. –Kawaii Philippines “
